Match Preview

In our 5th home game in March we welcome league leaders Bemerton Heath Harlequins to Kennels Lane. The Harlequins have equal points with Folland Sports but are top by goal difference with the benefit of a game in hand on their championship/promotion rival. Note to Spurs supporters, we face Folland at Southwood on the Tuesday 29/3/22!

Spurs have a tough task here playing against the meanest defence of Division 1 but we are enjoying a ‘home-fixture-bounce’ run of 3 wins in 4 games, with our Captain Tom White seeking his 20th goal of the season, so belief should be high for the home side.

With last Saturdays 3-1 win against East Cowes Victoria Spurs have opened a 9 point gap on Totton & Eling in 19th position and are just 5 points away from Fawley and East Cowes Vics’ in 16th and 17th respectively. Fawley and Totton have 4 games left and East Cowes and Spurs have 5. Still all to play for.
