Fleet Spurs First Team are on their travels again with another trip to the Hythe Garage Stadium for a Wessex League Division 1 fixture against Infinity FC.
Our hosts were founded in 2006 and are based in Knowle. The team ground share at the home of Hythe & Dibden while waiting for a new ground to be built in Wickham, Fareham.
Infinity are new to the Wessex league this season, they were promoted from the Hampshire Premier League Senior Division as runners-up season 2019/20 in the Covid affected realignment. This is the first league meeting between us.
Infinity have had a mixed start to Wessex life with 4 wins & a drawer from their 16 league games so far, recent form below:
Top striker for Infinity is Jamie White, 8 goals in 13 starts, followed by Kurt Watts, 5 in 13.
The team from Knowle had a fantastic result in a recent cup match recording a 6-1 win at Premier AFC Porchester, albeit a much changed side for the top division side.
Hopefully Spurs Captain and top striker (7 goals in 10 league games) Tom White has recovered from his injury to lead the team on Saturday to a convincing win.
Advance notice: Tuesday 17/11/21 Spurs are at home for a 19:45 kick off for a Round 2 Aldershot DFA Senior Cup tie against an Army FA XI. Come along.
