Match Preview

The first of 5 home fixtures in March starts on Tuesday 1/3/22 with promotion chasing Folland Sports visiting Kennels Lane.

Folland, alias The Plane Makers, sit 2nd in Division 1 and although they have played more games than their nearest rivals, they are handily placed for earning a promotion playoff place, as a minimum.

As their position in the league suggests The Plane Makers' recent form is good, no loss in the last 6 games, with goals scorers spread throughout the team. In the reverse fixture our Captain, Tom White, scored twice, but Folland came back with 4 goals of their own to win the game.

It's a tough ask but, Spurs will be looking to surprise our guests and take some positives from the match, even a point or 3, which would be nice.

Fleet's nearest rivals in the division do not play until Saturday, which gives us an opportunity to close the gap on the teams above us.
