After a full month of Home fixtures, Spurs start April with a away match at 19th placed Totton & Eling.
March was better for Spurs with 2 wins in 5 matches, it’s worth noting that all 3 losses were against a top 4 promotion chasing side. If we add the last game of February, Spurs have earned 9 points in 6 games, which has helped us pull 9 points clear of Totton.
The home side have not secured any league points since a 1-1 home draw against East Cowes Victoria on 2/11/21 and will be confirmed in 19th place in Division 1 if they do win on Saturday against Spurs.
However, Spurs recent improvement in form will count for nothing if we let our levels of commitment and hard work slip. Every game needs to be won.
To improve Spurs’ 18th position in the league, we need to win our 3 remaining matches and hope that either East Cowes Victoria or Fawley AFC do not pick up any further points in their remaining 3/2 respectively fixtures.
Go for it Spurs.
