Ep 2 "The Team, behind the team" ALL WITH NOTHING - FLEET SPURS - #UP FOR THE CHALLENGE.

Follow Fleet Spurs FC, a Step 6 Semi-professional Football team competing in the 2022/23 Wessex League Division 1. Post 2020/21 Covid season the Club lost its manager, its chairman, all but 1 of its players in the off season, were moved to the Wessex League by the FA which increased the clubs travel, expenditure and made Recruitment of players problematic. Worse still, they only had 5 weeks until the season began! ....Season 2021/22 was now about survival! The Team lost 9 of their 10 opening league games, crashed out of 3 cup competitions and were rock bottom of the Division until game week 28.....But somehow everyone battled through the challenges and by the end of the campaign the Team climbed to 18th. This left an anxious few weeks in the summer to confirm if the club would get a 'reprieve' from relegation....And they did! The Club have very limited means; They’re still re-building; But they are opening the doors for everyone to follow and join them on their ambitious journey. It's not going to be easy, we still face many challenges and struggles, we've much to do to develop as a Club and a Team. But, we do it ALL WITH NOTHING. And we're #UP FOR THE CHALLENGE.
